How to play LOTTO
Step 1 out of 4
Select at least 6 numbers (1 to 49). Alternatively, the “Quick Pick” option automatically chooses random numbers for you.
With LOTTO Systems you can select more than 6 numbers and create your slip.
Slip areas completion
Step 2 out of 4
You can fill in up to 6 areas (A to F) in the same slip.
With the “VOID” option, an area that is accidentally marked can be deselected without invalidating the whole slip.
Participation in consecutive / future draws
Step 3 out of 4
Fill in the number of consecutive (1 to 74) or future (1 to 55) draws you want to participate in. Multiple selections work cumulatively (e.g. for 15 consecutive draws you mark 5 & 10). If you do not fill in an option, your slip participates in the next draw only.
You may also participate in PROTO game, by choosing how many consecutive 7-digit numbers (1, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000) you want. Your selections are counted cumulatively.
Slip submission & entry ticket
Step 4 out of 4
Submit your slip to an OPAP store employee, receive your entry ticket and confirm that your selections are correct.
In case you participate in PROTO game through LOTTO slip, 2 separate entry tickets will be produced – 1 for each game.
More about LΟΤΤΟ
LOTTO is a numerical lottery game of chance. Its objective is to predict 6 main numbers drawn out of a series of 49, as well as a 7th bonus number which is drawn last and is required for the 2nd prize category (5+1). Players can participate by marking single columns or using systems (full, standard or combined).
Select more than 6 in the field of 49 numbers (e.g. 8).
Table of columns / successes
In case 1 of the selected numbers is the same as the 7th bonus number of the winning column, then:
* 6 successes out of the ones given for prize tier ΙΙΙ (5 correct numbers), as indicated in the corresponding cases of the table, are turned into successes of prize tier II (5+1) and they no longer include winnings of prize tier III (5 correct numbers).
** 1 success out of the ones given for prize tier ΙΙΙ (5 correct numbers), as indicated in the corresponding cases of the table, is turned into a success of prize tier ΙΙ (5+1) and they no longer include winnings of prize tier ΙΙΙ (5 correct numbers).
Standard systems offer you the ability to play with fewer columns and less cost, compared to those needed for a full system, while choosing the same amount of numbers.
The success rate, upon correct predictions, is not 100% (as in full development systems) but less, depending on the standard system selected.
In total, there are 25 standard systems.
There are 7 free-standing systems, which can be played on any area of the play slip and are distinguished by the fact that the required potential successful predictions should be 6. The rest of them can only be used for permutations systems.
The system code is marked in the "Codes" Field.
For more information, you can read the game's brochure, be advised by an OPAP store employee or download the Autonomous Sorting Program for free.
Participation using standard system with code 48 (9 selected numbers / 12 columns)
Table of standard systems
Κωδικός Συστήματος = System Code
Ζητούμενοι Αριθμοί = Requested number of potential successes
Επιλεγμένοι Αριθμοί = Selected Numbers
Πλήθος Στηλών = Number of columns
Table of free-standing standard systems
They offer the ability to combine your selections in 2 up to 3 slip areas.
The success rate depends on the number of correct predictions in each area (100% success rate is achieved, in case selections in all areas turn out to be correct).
The number of potential correct selections is marked in the "Codes" field of each area.
Participation in Permutations Systems is always in the form of ΑxΒ or ΑxΒxC and is achieved under the following conditions:
1. In each Permutation System, the sum of numbers referring to potential successful selections, in all marked areas, should equal 6.
2. The selected numbers should not exceed 49.
3. The numbers marked in each field of 49 should not be the same as the numbers marked in each one of the other similar fields.
The rest of the slip areas, except for the ones the system is developed, must remain blank.
Participation using full development permutations system
Area Α – potential successful selections 3 out of 5 - 10 columns
Area B – potential successful selections 2 out of 4 - 6 columns
Area C – potential successful selections 1 out of 3 – 3 columns
Participation through full development and standard permutations system
Area Α – potential successful selections 3 out of 3 - 1 column
Area B – potential successful selections 2 out of 10 - 5 columns (using the standard system with code 10)
Area C – potential successful selections 1 out of 4 – 4 columns
Quick pick option
The field "Quick Pick" is available in every matrix area:
a. By selecting "Quick Pick" without marking any digits in a matrix area, the terminal generates a single column by randomly selecting 6 numbers (1 to 49).
b. By selecting "Quick Pick" and a number out of 49, the terminal will generate a full system consisting of a random selection of numbers from 1 to 49, that will be as many as the selected number indicates.
c. By selecting "Quick Pick" and a Standard System code, the terminal will generate as many random numbers as the ones corresponding to the selected system (e.g. for system 58 the numbers generated should be 12 - 132 columns).
Note: The number you select should be greater than or equal to 6.
For example, by selecting 9, a full system with 9 randomly selected numbers will be generated - 84 columns).
Consecutive / Future Draws
By filling the relevant fields, you can participate with up to 74 consecutive or 55 future draws (starting from current). Multiple selections work cumulatively.
Participation in PROTO through LOTTO slip
There is also the option to participate in PROTO (with up to 1936 consecutive numbers), by marking the area at the bottom left side of a LOTTO slip.
Multiple selections work cumulatively (e.g. for 125 consecutive numbers mark 5, 20 and 100)
Note: In case of participating in PROTO through TZOKER, LOTTO, PROPO, PROPOGAOL slips, 2 different entry tickets are issued – 1 for each game.
A single column (6 from 49 numbers for 1 draw) costs 0,50€.
Where can I play
Exclusively in OPAP stores.
End of participation
You can submit your slip daily, at any OPAP store. More specifically, for the days where the draws take place (on Wednesday and Saturday), slip submission ends at 21:30.
