TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN OPAP'S LOYALTY PROGRAM “OPAP REWARDS”

The terms and conditions on the conduct of rewards are presented below as follows:

 

1. OPAP S.A. and HELLENIC LOTTERIES S.A. (hereinafter jointly and briefly called: the Company) implement a loyalty program “OPAP REWARDS” (hereinafter called the “Program”). Rewards, gifts and special benefits, deriving from the Program, aim at rewarding players of the Company. Rewarding is performed based on criteria that are linked to the gaming behavior of players registered in the Program, and are applied in a uniform manner, observing the principle of equal treatment and, in any case, no rewards are attributed to players under terms different from those based on which rewards are attributed to other players.

 

2. All land-based games of chance of the Company, with the exception of the games of chance conducted via Gaming Machines, participate in the present Program. For more information regarding the games of chance participating in the Program, you may visit www.opap.gr website. Therefore, the Program is addressed to players who choose the games of chance participating in the Program through OPAP agencies’ land-based network, by having their slips/ lottery tickets/ tickets scanned via the present application, and who are older than 18 years of age. It is clarified that in order for players to participate in the Program, their Greek mobile phone number shall be declared and the terms and conditions governing the players’ participation in the Program shall be accepted.

 

The members of the Program are notified, through the present application, of special offers and of the effective term thereof, of rewards arising from their gaming behavior, of the history of the rewards they have received, as well as of their available rewards.

 

3. The members of the Program are notified of the details relating to the conduct of draws, as well as of the offer of gifts and special benefits, such as (indicatively) the terms of granting, their term of effect etc., through a personalized message, namely either a text message (SMS) or an e-mail, sent to the contact details (namely mobile phone number, e-mail) that they have declared upon their registration in OPAP Loyalty Program (OPAP Rewards), through a push notification in the application or through a specific section in it.

 

4. There shall be a specific term during which each player-member of the Program shall collect entries for the draw. More specifically, the players-Program members shall be able to collect draw entries during the term of effect of each reward, as such is set forth by the Company.

 

5. Concerning the reward of the Program’s members that is available following a draw, a notification shall be sent through the present application, upon activation of the draw, as regards the following: a) the time period at their disposal to collect entries, b) the way to collect entries, c) the date of conduct of the draw d) the gifts to be made available and the total number of the winners to occur.

 

6. The beneficiaries of gifts, special benefits, and other rewards shall be informed of them, of the receipt manner, and of the special terms of use governing them, through the present application and/or personalized communication messages (e.g. through a mobile text message and/or e-mail) or by telephone communication to the contact details stated upon their registration in the Program.  

 

7. The Program’s members shall be rewarded and may enjoy the special benefits and receive the reward gifts, provided that they have fully accepted the general and special terms governing the said Program, and provided that they fully comply with the legislation in force.

 

8. All kinds of rewards having derived from the Program shall not be transferred to another player, nor returned.

 

9. Each member of the Program shall participate in it with the entirety of his/her entries to the games of chance included in the Program, through the present application, throughout the entire term of effect of each reward.

 

10. The Program participation criteria shall be set and communicated in advance via a personalized communication message, e.g. via a notification in the present application or via text message to mobile phone number or other means of communication selected by the player, to the contact details stated upon the player's registration in the Program, taking into account all scanned tickets and the value thereof, which have been conducted through the present application. The aforementioned shall be carried out during the term of effect of each reward. A valid entry shall mean the eventually scanned slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket that has been submitted and scanned on the same calendar day, through the present application. Each slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket shall participate in the Program with one single entry (the eventually already scanned slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket may not participate additional times in the Program, namely through rescanning). The criteria for participation in the Program and in each reward may be differentiated at the absolute discretion of the Company. In any case, the members registered in the Program shall be informed per the right above specifically mentioned in the present term.

 

11. Information on the games of chance participating in the Program is available on website https://www.opap.gr/opap-rewards. The Program does not include slips/ lottery tickets/ tickets that relate to the games of chance offered in the Republic of Cyprus by OPAP Cyprus Ltd.

 

12. The Company may, at any time and at its absolute discretion, amend the gifts, rewards and/or benefits offered through the Program. In any case, the Program's registered members shall be notified through personalized messages, based on the details they have stated upon their registration in the Program.

 

13. Employees and agency owners of OPAP Group are prohibited from participating to the Program.

 

14. The Company may, at any time and at its absolute discretion, exclude players from participating to the Program and/or any activity conducted through the Program, provided that such exclusion is justified by the entirety of the circumstances (indicatively: violation of the Accession Agreement terms; if a case of behavior falling under the provisions of legislation on money laundering and financing of terrorism is suspected to occur; violation of the provisions of the legislation in force on the games of chance market, etc.).

 

15. The Company may, at its absolute discretion, cancel the participation of a member of the Program in a reward category in its framework, in case of doubt or of dispute with regard to the validity of the said participation.

 

16. The Company shall not be held liable for any damage a member of the Program may suffer due to a reason that does not fall under its competences and that is linked to the participation of the member in the Program, as indicatively in cases of omission of use of any special benefit, or of non-receipt of a gift, or of non-compliance of the member with the terms and conditions of participation and/or of use of the reward, etc.

 

17. The Program’s member may withdraw therefrom at any time, by declaring it through the present application. Alternatively, he/she may call the Company’s customer service at 18280 (Mon - Fri 09:00 - 01:00), within 48 hours as of the entry of the request and, in case of bank holidays, on the following business day.

 

18. The Company may, at any time and at its absolute discretion, amend the terms of participation and/or the terms and conditions of use of the Program, and/or repeal the Program and/or part or the entirety of the individual rewards and other promotional activities included in the Program and materialized thereby, and shall not be held liable for any damage that may arise as a result of the aforementioned. The Program's terms of participation shall be available, as eventually applicable, at all times, in the present application. Therefore, the Program’s members are strictly recommended to regularly check the information that is available in the present application and concerns the Program. Issues that are deemed by the Company to be important for the operation and the content of the Program shall be communicated to the members through personalized communication, making use of the contact details declared upon their registration in the Program.

 

19. The present terms are governed by the Greek law. On any dispute that may arise due to their implementation, the Courts of Athens shall be the competent ones.  

NOTE

The participation to the Program and any eventual attribution of rewards, gifts and/or special benefits in its framework shall require and entail the full and unreserved acceptance of all present terms, with the participant opting for the corresponding field at the end of the said terms. Persons who do not accept the participation terms shall not be allowed to participate in the present Program.

 

 

 

SPECIAL TERMS OF OPAP’S LOYALTY PROGRAM “OPAP REWARDS”

The special terms of OPAP’s loyalty program “OPAP REWARDS” (hereinafter the “Program”) are described below in detail.

The Program shall commence its operation on Tuesday, February 16, 2021 and shall last for an indefinite period or until its operation is revoked by the Company, in accordance with the specific provisions of the general terms thereto. OPAP Group employees and OPAP agency owners shall be excluded from the Reward program.

  1. MONTHLY/ WEEKLY DRAWS
  1. The Program’s members collect entries for every weekly or monthly or daily draw.

  1. Entries for the draw are collected by the Program’s members as set out below:

A) one (1) entry for each one (1) scanned slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket that has been placed and scanned first on the same day (00:00 - 23:59), through the present application and more specifically, through option “DRAW RESULTS”.

B) Slips/ lottery tickets/ tickets with consecutive draws participate based on the number of consecutive draws.

C) Collection of multiple entries for slips/ lottery tickets/ tickets of one or more games, for a specific time period. Details on a specific activity shall be available in the Program’s section “Monthly or Weekly or Daily Draw” of the present application. Moreover, the members of the Program may be informed also through personalized communication.

  1. Throughout the entire term of the Program, its members collect entries for each weekly or monthly or daily draw as of the first day of each week/ month (time 00:00) until the last one (23:59). For daily draws, entries submitted between 00:00 and 23:59 of the previous day shall be counted.   Entries to be submitted after the lapse of the above time period shall be taken into consideration for the following weekly/ monthly/daily draw.

  1. The highest number of entries of scanned slips/ lottery tickets/ tickets in the monthly/ weekly draw is set to 800 (eight hundred). In case the highest number of scanned slips/ lottery tickets/ tickets is exceeded, the additional entries shall not be calculated in the weekly or monthly draw.

  1. The weekly/ monthly draw shall be conducted every first Tuesday of each week or of each month respectively and the daily draw the following day (and shall concern entries that have been collected during the respective immediately preceding reference time period, namely the immediately preceding week or month respectively or the previous day), at 16:00, at the headquarters of OPAP S.A., at 112, Athinon Ave., P.C. 10442, and may be conducted under the supervision of a lawyer or a lawyer and a notary. The draw shall be carried out through an automated random selection procedure of the participants to the Program. In case of a national holiday, the draw shall take place the immediately following business day. Daily draws are specified by a notification in the application or are communicated to the players via personalized communication. Any change to the date of conduct of the draw, apart from the aforementioned ones, shall be communicated to the Program’s members through the Program’s section “Monthly or Weekly Draw” of the present application.
  2. One (1) winner shall be designated in every weekly/ monthly/ daily draw for each gift that is eventually available in the framework of the Program. In case of draw with winners/ runners-up, their number shall be communicated to the Program’s members through the Program’s section “Monthly or Weekly or Daily Draw” of the present application.
  3. The beneficiaries of the gifts shall be informed through personalized communication, which shall take place after the completion of the draw conduct, based on the contact details that the Program’s members had stated upon their registration in the Program.

  1. Information on the gifts made available to the Program’s members through the weekly or monthly or daily draws shall be available through the present application and specifically through the Program’s section “Monthly or Weekly or Daily Draw”. Moreover, the members of the Program may be informed also through personalized communication.

The Company may amend the offered gifts, rewards or even the special benefits at any time and at its absolute discretion.

Therefore, OPAP S.A. reserves the right:

  • to send any of the GIFTS to the winners, according to the time availability of the product;
  • to differentiate any of the GIFTS in case of exhausted stocks, following prior notification of the winner by phone. In such case, a GIFT of equal monetary value to the one of the GIFT the stocks of which have been exhausted shall be made available. In any case, the Program's members shall be notified through personalized communication (through text message to mobile phone, or e-mail, or by phone), based on the contact details they have stated upon their registration in the Program.

  1. The participation to the Program presupposes the access of the interested parties to the Internet with the use of their technical means. The Company does not undertake any responsibility as to assuring or assisting any of the interested persons in terms of Internet access, nor as to the provision of facilitations to them. Access to websites is only allowed under the operation terms of the relevant server and the technical and other conditions and specifications of the Program. Furthermore, the Company shall not be held liable for any charges to the participants-users occurring during the period of their participation in the Program.


The Company’s liability shall be solely and exclusively restricted to the provision of gifts. The Company shall not be held liable for the proper operation of the gifts and it shall provide no relevant guarantee to the winners. Should an issue occur, the winner shall address the manufacturer or the representatives distributing their products in the Greek market. The participants shall waive any relevant claim against the Company due to the aforementioned cause.


The Company may exclude from the Program persons who, at any stage of its conduct, have used (or have attempted to use) foul means with regard to their participation, or who have violated any of the present terms. Foul means shall mean, indicatively, the cooperation with other persons, the use of devices, structures, computers and/or software to facilitate automated or multiple participations without human intervention.

2. PLAY AND GET

The "PLAY AND GET" mechanism enables the members of the Program to participate with their submitted tickets in weekly or other time-duration offers.

 Offers may include challenges, missions, or the achievement of a specific goal, taking into account, as the case may be, one or more of the following criteria, as eventually specified in the applicable offer: 

    • The active participation (scanning or submission of tickets through the application) of the member on specific days;
    • the total value of tickets of a particular game or the total number of tickets from a combination of different games in a given period of time;
    • the presence of the loyalty program member in an OPAP store and active participation in the OPAP Rewards loyalty program within the store;
    • the ordinal participation in a set of individual missions, all of which shall be successfully completed within the time period and in accordance with the conditions of the offer.

Participation in the offers Mission is optional. To ensure participation and to earn the reward, the member's declaration and the corresponding activity as requested is required. Active Challenges / Missions shall be communicated within the application in the "MISSIONS" section.

  1. The Program’s members are notified of the offer(s):
  • through personalized communication, based on the contact details stated upon their registration in the Program; and/or
  • through communication and detailed report to the application, in the special section of the Program’s mechanism “PLAY AND GET”; and/or
  • at the store, through the available points of contact, for their information, e.g. screens, sound solution, etc.

  1. The reward may concern the entirety or part of the games of chance participating in the Program, and it may also be linked to the gaming behavior of the Program’s members during the term of effect of the reward activity that is eventually available by the Program, or it may concern the time period that is specified in the offer.

  1. The reward mechanism has a specific term of effect. Information on the term of effect of each reward mechanism that is available through the Program is always posted in section “PLAY AND GET” of the present application.

  1. The reward has a specific term of effect. The members may make use of it throughout its term of effect. Information on the term of effect of each available reward is posted in section “MY REWARDS” of the present application.

  1. Rewards are awarded to Program members instantly, in real time upon achievement of the goal and completion of the specific offer and following the conduct of draws/events of the respective games. Rewards are awarded on a per-game basis - unless otherwise specified in the offer - and concern the entirety of the collected entries out of the total number of scanned slips/ lottery tickets/ tickets of the time period specified by the eventually applicable offer.

  1. The reward concerns the total value of the slips/ lottery tickets/ tickets scanned through the present application, which took place during the time period specified by each offer and is conducted per game of chance participating in the Program.
     
  2. In case of a combined offer, of participation of all games of chance of the Program, the reward attribution shall be conducted to the game of chance with the highest participation in the total value of the slips/ lottery tickets/ tickets scanned and submitted through the present application.

  1. In case of group play in an active offer, the reward shall be awarded to the participant who performs the first scan.

  1. The following are not taken into account in the reward mechanism:
    • the value of canceled tickets;
    • the value of slips/ lottery tickets/ tickets scanned more than once;
    • the value of the slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket, after making use of a reward of equal value to the one of the slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket, shall not be offset in Program’s mechanism PLAY AND GET.

  1. Program members may view the rewards they have received in real-time by completing the steps following the conduct of draws/events in section "OPAP Rewards" > My Rewards section of the present application.

SPECIAL TERMS - FREE GAMING VOUCHERS - NUMBER GAMES

  1. A free gaming voucher may be used as of the day of its acquisition until its date and time of expiry. The voucher’s expiry is indicated on the application and/or in the communication means via which it was attributed.
  2. A free gaming voucher may be redeemed only for the game(s) for which it is offered. The game is indicated on the application and/or in the communication means via which it was attributed.
  3. The free gaming voucher may be used as a discount to a slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket of equal or higher value than its own one.
  4. The free gaming voucher may not be redeemed in cash, but only as a discount to a next slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket.
  5. Any net winnings deriving from a slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket submitted along with a free gaming voucher shall be attributed to the player in whole, based on the procedures eventually applicable on each game.
  6. The free gaming vouchers attributed to the Program’s members as a reward by the mechanisms:

    1. PLAY AND GET:

May be used as a discount to a slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket of equal or higher value than its own one.

  1. In case a free gaming voucher is used in a slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket:
  • of higher value, it shall be offset in the Program’s existing mechanism PLAY AND GET (or in a future Program’s mechanism), and the difference of the voucher’s value compared to the total value of the slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket shall be exclusively considered;
  • of equal value, it shall not be offset in the Program’s existing mechanism PLAY AND GET (or in a future Program’s mechanism).
  1. The redeeming of free gaming vouchers (discount to a slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket of equal or higher value that their own one) in number games/ games of HELLENIC LOTTERIES shall collect entries for a weekly/ monthly/ daily draw.
    1. REWARD WHEEL:

May be used as a discount to a slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket of equal or higher value than its own one.

In case a free gaming voucher is used in a slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket:

  1. of equal value (fully subsidized), the Reward Wheel mechanism shall not be activated;
  2. of higher value (partially subsidized), the Reward Wheel mechanism shall be activated;
  3. of higher value (partially subsidized), it may be offset in a future or existing REWARD WHEEL mechanism, and the difference of the voucher’s value compared to the total value of the slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket shall be considered.
  1. The Company, whenever it deems it appropriate, shall reserve the right to cancel a free gaming voucher, and the member shall be accordingly notified through the communication means via which he/she received the relevant free gaming voucher.

SPECIAL TERMS - FREE GAMING VOUCHERS - BETTING GAMES

  1. A free gaming voucher may be used as of the day of its acquisition until its date and time of expiry. The voucher’s expiry is indicated on the application and/or in the communication means via which it was attributed.
  2. A free gaming voucher may be redeemed only for the game(s) for which it is offered. The game is indicated on the application and/or in the communication means via which it was attributed.
  3. The free gaming voucher may be used as a discount to a slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket of equal value.
  4. The free gaming voucher cannot be redeemed in cash, but may be only used for the provision of discount to a next slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket.
  5. Any net winnings deriving from a free gaming voucher are readily withdrawable, and no condition for a specific betting amount applies. For example, if a 5 EUR free gaming voucher is placed on a bet offering an odd of 3, in case the said bet wins, 10 EUR will be credited to the account the player holds in the Program, as derives from the following calculation: (voucher value)*(odd) - (voucher value) = (net winnings).

  1. The free gaming vouchers attributed to the Program’s members as a reward by the mechanisms:

    1. PLAY AND GET:

May be used as a discount to a slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket of equal value.

  1. In case a free gaming voucher is used in a slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket:
      • Then it shall not be offset in the existing mechanism PLAY AND GET (or in a future Program’s mechanism).
      • The redeeming of free gaming vouchers (discount to a slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket of equal value) in BETTING GAMES shall NOT collect entries for a weekly/ monthly/ daily draw.

B. REWARD WHEEL:

May be used as a discount to a slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket of equal value.

      1. of equal value (fully subsidized), the Reward Wheel mechanism shall not be activated;
      2. of higher value (partially subsidized), the Reward Wheel mechanism shall be activated;
      3. of higher value (partially subsidized), it may be offset in a future or existing REWARD WHEEL mechanism, and the difference of the voucher’s value compared to the total value of the slip/ lottery ticket/ ticket shall be considered.
  1. The Company reserves the right to cancel a free gaming voucher whenever it deems it appropriate.

  1. The General Loyalty Terms and the Information on the Protection of Personal Data apply.



NOTE

The participation in the Program and any eventual attribution of rewards, gifts and/or special benefits in its framework shall require and entail the full and unreserved acceptance of all present terms, with the participant opting for the corresponding field at the end of the said terms. Those who do not accept the terms of participation shall not be able to participate in the Program.
