INFORMATION ON THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA WHEN ENTERING OPAP'S HEADQUARTERS 

OPAP S.A. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company"), with its registered office at 112 Athens Avenue, Athens, as the data controller in accordance with the applicable European and national legislation, informs you, about the processing of your personal data during your entry and stay at its premises.  

  • In particular, we inform you that the Company collects from visitors their full name and the name of the company or any other organization for which they are acting, the person in the Company that they are meeting, as well as their ID number or other identification document, in order to serve its legitimate interest to protect the individuals and assets in its premises. The collection and recording of data in special books is carried out by authorized for this purpose personnel of the Company, and is not disclosed to third parties. Such data is retained for a maximum of forty-five (45) days in the relevant entry books and are securely destroyed at the end the aforementioned period. 

  • Further, we would like to inform you that the area of the main entrance, points near elevators, staircases and safety exits, areas of high risk electrical equipment, the entrance area to the 7th floor administration offices, the underground and above ground parking areas, the cashier's area, and the entire exterior of the building are also being monitored, based on the Company's legitimate interests, by closed circuit television (CCTV) for the same aforementioned purpose. The image data collected are being processed only by the authorized personnel of our Company and our external security service providers, are being kept for 15 days and are destroyed after that period by automated means, unless their retention is mandatory, in accordance with the law or for the exercise of the legitimate interests of our Company and/or third parties. The Company may communicate to the competent judicial, prosecutorial and police authorities data that the latter legitimately request within the exercise of their duties, as well as in any other case expressly defined by the applicable legislation. Detailed information on the processing of data collected through CCTV is available upon scanning the QR Code located in the monitored premises. 

We would like to assure you that our Company takes the appropriate measures to protect the personal data it processes and to ensure that the processing of personal data is always carried out in accordance with the obligations imposed by the legal framework, both by the Company itself and also, by the third parties processing personal data on its behalf.

In any case, we inform you that you may lodge a complaint to the Data Protection Authority.
